when he became head of the Board of Organisation of the
Kuomintang. Ho and his brother, Chen Kuo-fu, are
leaders of the so-called "C.C. Clique", which represents
the extreme rightwing of the Kuomintang. A strong
Party man.

Former official representative at Nanking of the
Chinese Communists and one of its chief legondary
figures.
Chu Chia hua.
Ph.D. of Borlin. Minister of Education and
President of the Academia Sinica (principal Chinese
soientific research organisation). Speaks German well
and English indifferently, and heads the German-returned
students. He is a strong Party (Kuomintang) man and
has considerable influence.
Han Li-wu.

Educatod London University and the United States
Secretary General of Sino-British Cultural
Association, in which capacity he works assiduously for
the improvement of Sino-British relations. Was a member
of the Chinese good-will mission to Great Britain in
December 1943. Spoaks excellent English and heads the
British-returned students. Close to Chiang Kai-shek.

Educated in Germany. Minister of Social Affairs
since 1940 and now Minister of Labour. He is also a
Kuomintang
